Kunst har vore ein viktig del av Balestrand i mange generasjonar, og er like aktuelt i dag. Når ein ruslar rundt i Balestrand treff ein på skulpturar eller andre kunstverk utandørs, og kunstsamlingar som er tilgjengelege for publikum på fleire av hotella. Balestrand Kunstlag bidreg sterkt til at både innbuarar og besøkjande i bygda får varierte utstillingar i løpet av året. Art has been important in Balestrand for many generations and still is today. As you stroll around Balestrand you may come across a sculpture or other outdoor work of art as well finding fine art collections available to the public at some of the hotels. The Balestrand Art Society is very active in ensuring that both residents and visitors can experience a variety of exhibitions through the year. Please contact the Tourist Office for more information.
